Course Registration

There are two ways to register for our wireless instructor led courses. 

1. Private Courses: Your company will provide you with an enrollment key when the course is scheduled.  Simply click on that course below and you will be prompted for an enrollment key.

2. Public Courses:  Click here to register, find the course and time, and register.  You will be provided further information at that time.

 

5G encompasses a major evolution of the over-the-air interface, and puts into place a new functional network architecture for delivering services over both fixed and wireless networks. This course takes the learner through the 3GPP radio and network specifications defined by the 3GPP. It illustrates how 5G will deliver enhanced Mobile Broadband (eMBB), ultra-reliable low-latency communications (URLLC), and massive machine type communications (mMtC). The learner will also gain an understanding of how 5G interworks with non-3GPP networks, such as Wi-Fi networks. 

5G has introduced a New Radio (NR) and transition the core network from functional nodes to network functions (NF). In this course we look beyond NR and NFs, and look at specific topics that are fundamental to the success delivery of 5G services. These advanced topics include, edge computing, high capacity deployments, 5G private networks including CBRS, 5G security, and vertical services.  Learners attending this course are expect to have attended the 2-day 5G course or have equivalent knowledge on 5G.

The 4G 101 Foundation course is focused on understanding 4G/LTE terminology and the Evolved Packet System (EPS) architecture. It will compare and contrast LTE with other broadband wireless technologies including 802.11n Wi-Fi and 802.16 WiMAX. This course will also provide an overview of the key features in LTE-Advanced and the emergence of fifth generation (5G) wireless networks.  See the course details here.

The 4G 201 Advanced course will provide a detailed description of how LTE achieves higher data rates. It will also discuss how voice and video over LTE (VoLTE) is enabled. The course will also discuss how roaming is supported between these LTE and other networks including WiFi. In addition it will describe the emerging standards that enable mobile service providers to offload data to Wi-Fi.  See the course details here.
